How to reach us
Write to wecare@quantumpipes.com. A person reads it. We answer on business days, usually the same one.
For anything about billing, licensing, or your account, the same address is the right one. There is no phone queue and no ticket number to keep track of.
What to include
The three things that let us answer on the first reply rather than the third:
- Which app and which version. On iPhone, Settings shows it. On the desktop app it is in the About panel.
- What you did, and what happened instead. The exact sequence beats a description of the symptom.
- Whether a hub is connected. AskQP works on its own and also connects to a hub you run. Which of those you were in changes the answer.
Please do not send screenshots of anything confidential. We do not need to see your work to fix the app, and we would rather not have it.
AskQP on iPhone
The iPhone app is complete on its own. It answers on-device, captures notes, documents and voice into a vault that stays on the phone, and needs no account. Face ID is the only credential; there is no password to reset.
Connecting a hub is optional and is done from Settings. A hub is a machine you run: your desktop, or a server your organization operates. If you cannot reach yours, the address and its certificate are the first two things to check, and the app will tell you which of the two failed.
If the phone has been paired to a Space and stops receiving updates, the most common cause is that its key was never registered on the hub. Pair it again from the desktop; the app says when a key is still pending.
Where your data is
On your device. AskQP is offline-first: your notes, documents and conversations are written to your own storage, and a shared Space is encrypted with a key only its members hold. We do not run a server that holds your work, so there is nothing for us to look up on your behalf and nothing for us to hand to anyone else.
That is also the limit of what support can do. We cannot recover a vault, a Space Key, or a device key that has been erased, because we never had a copy. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.
Reporting a security issue
Please use the coordinated disclosure process rather than this address: Security disclosure. It reaches the right people faster and keeps the report out of a general inbox.
